Happy 21st Stephanie.
I went out for my friends birthday tonight. It wasn't a crazy drunken event like previous birthday bashes but it was nice to just go out and have some safe fun. My boyfriend accompanied me and we left early since both of us have work tomorrow morning.
I promised myself not to drink any beer because if I did I will surely be having a dreadful hangover the next morning. There's a saying that goes, which I'm too lazy/drunk to look up, that if you drink liqs before beer then you'll be in the clear. I didn't drink any beer tonight so I should be good.
The crowd tonight didn't seem to want to dance. Guys weren't dancing with girls so it felt weird when Tony and I danced with each other.
But all in all it was mostly just a night to relax and let a load off.
I looked exceptionally dressed up today or so my boyfriend says. I did my make up with make up I had just picked up at the drugstore a few hours before going out. It was on sale so I was quite pleased with my purchase and they were reputable items on top of that. I bought some eyeshadow, concealer, and lipgloss. It all seemed to go well with each other and Tony really took notice when he picked me up. I usually never use eyeshadow. Usually I'll just put on some eyeliner and foundation and some lipgloss and that's it. But today I was watching some videos on Youtube of makeup gurus. This girl (AhraMablog) in particular and it just inspired me to do my make up "properly" and with more effort and little did I know it would go along way even with just drugstore make up. I was contemplating on buying the branded make up Benefit at the mall but I was strapped for time and reminded myself to budget my money for more important things so I just headed to the nearest drugstore.
It's nice because I can wear the make up I bought everyday without looking unnatural. It can be worn simple and look fancy and glamorous at the same time. Pretty proud. Make up is most girls best friend.
