I've just recently gotten in touch with my Filipino roots after my grandma left to live with my uncle. Reason being because I went downstairs, where my grandma usually hangs out, and watched some Filipino tv. I rarely watch tv nowadays and especially when my grandma's around because she'll be talking none stop to me and I wouldn't be able to understand what's on anyway. But now, I get to watch peacefully.

My house hasn't had any cable for the longest time now. I think it's been 2 years. But we still have asian channels. So that's what I ended up watching today.

I never really had any interest in watching Filipino dramas. I don't find the filming, acting, story plots very impressive and unoriginal. I feel like as long as someone can cry on cue they'll be given an acting gig on the stop. And their crying isn't that convincing either.

But I did find a series called "Sinner or Saint" to be rather interesting. And I sort of want to watch the movie "Forever and a Day" after the trailer was advertised like 10 times since I started watching tv.
